    This privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") is designed to inform you about the types of information that Company may gather about or collect from you in connection with your use of the Website. This privacy policy applies to your current or past "MyPleadings" subscription as well as your use of this website if you are not a subscriber.  MyPleadings.com offers different subscriptions and different levels of service.  References to any "subscription" or "service" refer to any level of subscription or service provided by MyPleadings.com.  This Privacy Policy also explains the conditions under which Company uses and discloses that information, and your rights in relation to that information. Changes to this Privacy Policy will be posted on the Website and may be made without notice to you. Each time you use the Website, the current version of this Privacy Policy will apply.

    By submitting Personally-Identifying Information to Company, you agree and consent that we may collect, use, and share your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. The required personal information is necessary to purchase a MyPleadings.com subscription.

    BY USING OR ACCESSING THE WEBSITE, YOU ARE ACCEPTING THE PRACTICES DESCRIBED IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. FURTHER YOU CONSENT TO THE USE AND DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONALLY-IDENTIFYING INFORMATION AS DESCRIBED HEREIN.

  2. Cookies. MyPleadings.com may gather website use information using cookies. Cookies allow your website experience to be tailored to your preferences by gathering and remembering information about your preferences. Company may also track and collect information relating to your use of MyPleadings.com. Website users who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before accessing MyPleadings.com, with the understanding that certain features of the Website may not function property without the aid of cookies.   4. Additional Information Collected. MyPleadings.com is a legal pleading automation service. As such, it accepts a wide variety of Personally-Identifying Information about your clients. MyPleadings.com does not use or access this information, except as described in Paragraph 7 below.
  5. No Sale/No Trade Policy. It is the strict policy of Company that your information will never be sold, traded or leased to a third party for any marketing, advertising or similar purpose, with the exception that such information may be sold as part of the sale of Company and/or the sale of MyPleadings.com.
  6. How Company Uses Your Information. Company may use your information to perform the following:
    1. To deliver the products and services that you have purchased as part of a MyPleadings.com subscription.
    2. To perform internal record keeping and manage your account;
    3. To provide you with customer service and support;
    4. To notify you about important changes or revisions to our policies or services;
    5. To request feedback necessary to improve the services;
    6. To notify you about new products or services provided by Company;
    7. To detect and protect us against error, fraud and other criminal activity;

  7. How Company Accesses Your Clients' Information. Company may access your client's information incidentally to perform the functions described below. Client data is stored in an encrypted format while at rest and is transmitted via encrypted SSL, although it is viewable by Company incident to performing the functions below. Company will not knowingly access your clients' information except to perform the following limited functions.
    1. To deliver the products and services that you have purchased as part of a MyPleadings.com subscription; and
    2. To provide you with customer service and support.
  8. Company Disclosures. Company may disclose Personally-Identifying Information under the following circumstances:
    1. By Law or to Protect Rights. When we believe disclosure is appropriate, we may disclose Personally-Identifying Information in connection with efforts to investigate, prevent or take other action regarding illegal activity, suspected fraud or other wrongdoing; to protect and defend the rights, property or safety of Company, our users, our employees or others; to comply with applicable law or cooperate with law enforcement; to enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements or policies, in response to a subpoena or similar investigative demand, a court order or a request for cooperation from a law enforcement or other government agency; to establish or exercise our legal rights; to defend against legal claims; or as otherwise required by law. In such cases, we may raise or waive any legal objection or right available to us.
    2. Third-Party Service Providers. We may share Personally-Identifying Information, which may include your name and contact information (including email address) with our authorized service providers that perform certain website-related services on our behalf. This applies to your Personally Identifying Information as the user as well as your client's Personally Identifying Information which you have input into the Website.   These services may include merging data related to document automation, providing customer service, performing business and sales analysis, and supporting the Website's functionality, including development and hosting. We may also share your name, contact information and credit card information with our authorized service providers who process credit card payments. These service providers may have access to personal information needed to perform their functions but are not permitted to share or use such information for any other purpose.

    3. Business Transfers; Bankruptcy. Company reserves the right to transfer all Personally-Identifying Information in its possession to a successor organization in the event of a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy or other sale of all or a portion of Company's assets. Other than to the extent ordered by a bankruptcy or other court, the use and disclosure of all transferred Personally-Identifying Information will be subject to this Privacy Policy, or to a new privacy policy if you are given notice of that new privacy policy and are given an opportunity to affirmatively opt-out of it. Personally-Identifying Information submitted or collected after a transfer, however, may be subject to a new privacy policy adopted by the successor organization.
  9. Security. We take the security of your Personally-Identifying Information seriously and use reasonable electronic, personnel and physical measures to protect it from loss, theft, alteration or misuse.  However, please be advised that even the best security measures cannot fully eliminate all risks. We cannot guarantee that only authorized persons will view your information. We are not responsible for third-party circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures.

    We are dedicated to protecting all information on the Website. However, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Personally-Identifying Information by keeping your password confidential. You should change your password immediately if you believe someone has gained unauthorized access to it or your account. If you lose control of your account, you should notify us immediately.

  10. Account Termination. Upon your request, we will deactivate or delete your account and contact information from our active databases. Such information will be deactivated or deleted as soon as practicable based on your account activity and accordance with our deactivation policy and applicable law. To make this request, either go to your account settings or contact us via email. We will retain in our files some Personally-Identifying Information to prevent fraud, to troubleshoot problems, to assist with any investigations, to enforce our Terms of Use and to comply with legal requirements as is permitted by law. Therefore, you should not expect that all your Personally-Identifying Information will be completely removed from our databases in response to your requests. Additionally, we keep a history of changed information to investigate suspected fraud with your account.
